We are seeking a skilled Java Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, automation testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners to improve software quality through scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java.
Create automated test scripts for web, API, and database testing.
Develop reusable automation libraries and utilities.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
Execute automated regression, smoke, sanity, and integration test suites.
Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Perform API testing using REST services and validate responses.
Develop database validation scripts using SQL.
Generate automation execution reports and dashboards.
Participate in code reviews and enforce automation coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Continuously improve automation coverage and framework performance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in test automation using Java.
Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
Experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
Experience in API automation using Rest Assured or similar tools.
Strong SQL skills for database validation.
Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
Experience with Git and version control.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Playwright Java.
Knowledge of Cucumber (BDD).
Experience with Appium for mobile automation.
Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.
