Salary Range: $52.00 - $55.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits). Applicants must be willing to work on W2.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java engineer to design and develop enterprise applications and integration services supporting digital assets, stablecoins, tokenized money, and wallet/custody platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong Java/Spring engineering experience combined with hands-on exposure to digital-asset infrastructure. Experience integrating with Taurus or other institutional wallet/custody platforms is especially desirable.
Candidates from banking/payments backgrounds who have worked on payment processing, transaction processing, or settlement platforms and have exposure to blockchain/digital assets will also be considered.
Required Experience:
7+ years of hands-on experience in Advanced Java Concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based services supporting digital-asset and stablecoin use cases.
Develop APIs and integration services connecting banking applications with:
Digital-asset platforms
Wallet platforms
Custody solutions
Blockchain/DLT networks
Payment and settlement systems
Integrate applications with Taurus or similar digital-asset custody/wallet infrastructure.
Develop services supporting:
Wallet integration
Transaction initiation
Transaction status and lifecycle management
Asset transfers
Payment and settlement flows
Reconciliation
Exception handling
Build secure REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Work with architects, product owners, and business analysts to translate digital-asset use cases into scalable technical solutions.
Implement appropriate security, authentication, authorization, logging, and audit capabilities.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and production-readiness activities.
Troubleshoot integration, transaction-processing, and performance issues.
Follow enterprise banking standards for availability, resiliency, observability, and secure software engineering.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on Java development experience, with 7+ years of experience in Advanced Java Concepts.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
REST API development and integration experience.
Experience with enterprise integration patterns.
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Understanding of asynchronous/event-driven processing.
Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms.
Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization.
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
Digital Asset Experience: Candidates should ideally have experience with several of the following:
Blockchain/DLT.
Digital assets.
Stablecoins.
Tokenized deposits / tokenized money.
Wallet architecture.
Institutional custody platforms.
Public/private key concepts.
Transaction signing
Blockchain transaction lifecycle..
Smart contract interaction.
On-chain/off-chain integration.
Digital asset transfers and settlement.
Digital-asset transaction reconciliation.
Preferred Platform Experience: Highly desirable:
Taurus / Taurus-PROTECT / institutional wallet or custody integration.
Also relevant:
Other institutional custody/wallet platforms.
Ethereum/EVM-based integration.
Enterprise blockchain/DLT platforms.
Banking payment gateways.
Payment orchestration platforms.
Taurus or comparable institutional custody/wallet platform experience is preferred rather than mandatory.
Payments Experience – Added Advantage Experience in traditional banking/payment systems is highly desirable, particularly:
Payment processing.
Clearing and settlement.
ISO 20022.
SWIFT.
Real-time payments.
Wire/ACH processing.
Transaction orchestration.
Reconciliation.
Treasury/liquidity systems.
