Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud-based application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, development, and production support.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable Java code.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
• Work with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver application solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance, integration, and production issues.
• Implement unit testing, code reviews, and software engineering best practices.
• Participate in CI/CD and cloud deployment processes.
• Analyze existing applications and contribute to modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of React/Angular is a plus.
• Experience working in financial services/banking environments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
