Job Description
Job Title:Java/Mainframe Production Support Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Must Have:
- Strong Java development/support experience
- IBM Mainframe / z/OS
- COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2
- Mainframe application Production Support
- L2/L3 incident troubleshooting
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Batch job monitoring, abends, restart/rerun and recovery
- Incident/problem/change management
- Production deployment and release support
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting high-volume enterprise applications
Good to Have:
- Spring Boot / REST APIs
- IBM MQ / WebSphere
- Linux/Unix scripting
- Control-M / CA7
- Splunk
- ServiceNow / Jira
- Java-to-mainframe integration
- Financial services/banking domain
