Java Springboot Developer

Location: Irving, TX

Salary Range: $65-70/hr on w2

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled developer to join our fast-paced, project-centered, and team-oriented atmosphere. The successful candidate will work on a key component of the CARE program, enhancing transaction experiences and remediating customer pain points.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• 10 years of experience in design, development, and triaging for large, complex systems. Experience in Java and object-oriented design skills.
• 6 years of microservices development.
• 5 years working in Spring Boot.
• 5 years leading and mentoring a technology team while being a strong individual contributor.
• 3 years of experience working with streaming technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience in building microservices-based applications using Spring Boot, REST, and JSON.
• DevOps understanding – containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD.
• Experience with Web API, gRPC, and GraphQL architecture.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience working with Cassandra.
• Experience leading offshore teams, communicating expectations, and tracking deliverables.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Work in a fast-paced, project-centered, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Create solutions that are high-quality, scalable, and maintainable, with an emphasis on backend systems and related technologies.
• Carry out unit and integration tests; identify and resolve bugs.
• Develop and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Produce well-written documentation for each microservice.
• Communicate with other developers and teams, and disseminate expertise within the organization.
• Adhere to the whole Software Development Life Cycle.
• Interact with product owners/UI team/UX team for requirement clarification.
• Run build and deployments during the onshore deployment window.
• Attend scrum ceremonies, especially Refinement calls that happen during onshore time.
