Job Summary

We are seeking a talented JavaFX Developer to design, develop, and maintain rich desktop applications using Java and JavaFX. The ideal candidate will have experience building responsive, user-friendly desktop applications with modern UI/UX principles, integrating backend services, and optimizing application performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality desktop software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using Java and JavaFX.

• Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using FXML and Scene Builder.

• Implement application logic following MVC/MVVM architecture.

• Integrate desktop applications with RESTful APIs, databases, and third-party services.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.

• Develop reusable UI components and custom JavaFX controls.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.

• Debug and resolve application defects and production issues.

• Collaborate with QA, product owners, and business stakeholders.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.

• Maintain technical documentation and support software releases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Java development.

• Hands-on experience with JavaFX desktop application development.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).

• Experience with JavaFX UI controls, layouts, and event handling.

• Experience with FXML and Scene Builder.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

• Experience integrating REST APIs.

• Strong SQL and database knowledge.

• Experience with Git and version control.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot backend integration.

• Knowledge of MVVM or MVC design patterns.

• Experience with multithreading and concurrency in Java.

• Familiarity with JavaFX CSS styling.

• Experience with Maven or Gradle.

• Knowledge of JavaFX Charts and animations.

• Experience packaging desktop applications using jpackage, Launch4j, or Install4j.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
