As a Job Coach you will play a key role in helping individuals identify career goals, prepare for employment and succeed in meaningful jobs within their communities. Driving an agency vehicle candidate will accompany, support and supervise Students with Disabilities (I/DD) to a jobsite to learn hands on employment skills.
Record documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum associate degree in Human Services related field from an accredited college.
Three years experience working with the DDD population.
Bogg Center Employee Specialist Foundation Training is required within 90 days of hire.
Understanding of DVRS and Pre-Employment Transition Services preferred.
Experience with transition for 14-21 years old. Youth is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
