Journeyman Hvac Installer

Essel is seeking dedicated and experienced Journeyman HVAC Installers to join our skilled team. In this position, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, exceptional technical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems according to blueprint designs and manufacturer specifications.
• Duct and sheet metal installation; refrigeration, copper, pipefitting, brazing.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete installations within agreed timelines.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and local building codes while on the job.
• Communicate effectively with clients to assess their HVAC needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent experience.
• 10-20 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and service work.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation components.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose HVAC problems accurately.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
