Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Pipefitter/Plumber for a permanent position in our dynamic construction team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in the construction industry, who is looking to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of piping installation methods, fittings, valves, and related tools. They will have a keen eye for detail, an unwavering commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
2. Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, fitting, and aligning pipes as per project specifications.
3. Collaborating with other trades, project managers, and field supervisors to ensure projects stay on schedule.
4. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
5. Inspecting and testing piping systems for leaks and other potential issues.
6. Providing reliable, consistent work and displaying strong communication skills.
7. Continually learning and adapting to new technologies and techniques in the field.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Journeyman Pipefitter/Plumber in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of piping installation methods, fittings, valves, and related tools.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. A reliable work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt.
6. Proficiency in measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, fitting, and aligning pipe according to project requirements.
7. Experience in collaborating with various trades, project managers, and field supervisors to keep projects on schedule.
