p>Required Skills, knowledge, and certifications or licenses: • Verifiable work experience as a licensed Plumber • Current journeyman plumbing license through TSBPE • Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of the following: • Health and safety in relation to plumbing systems • Plumbing PPE • Commercial and residential blueprints • Residential and commercial plumbing applications • State and local plumbing codes regarding potable water, waste water, and gas systems • Hazards and safety precautions relating to water supply and distribution systems • Field dimensioning, measuring, sketching, and layout of process piping • Use, care, and setup of a transit level • Pipe sizing DFUs, WFUs, and vent sizing • Drain and sewer cleaning • Cost and material estimation • Project planning/management • Basic computer skills.
Preferred Skills, knowledge, and certifications or licenses:
• Master plumbing license through TSBPE • OSHA authorized construction trainer • Railroad commission LPG license • BPAT license • OSSF installers license • Med Gas endorsment • Rinnai teaching certification • Knowledge in heavy equipment operations and safety • Boiler maintenance experience • New technology material installer certification • 3-10 years work/field experience.
