Job Description

Miller Placement is recruiting a Journeyman Plumber for a full time, direct hire maintenance role on a university campus in Austin, Texas.

Pay: $30 to $33 per hour, plus university benefits. Steady, year round work with regular hours. On call about once every 13 weeks.

The job

Maintain and repair plumbing systems across campus buildings, from fixtures to water heaters and drain lines.

Respond to service requests and help with planned maintenance projects.

Get around campus by utility cart rather than a service truck.

What you need

An active Texas Journeyman Plumber license (or higher).

Commercial or institutional plumbing experience is a plus.

Reliable, good with people, and comfortable working in occupied buildings.
