We are hiring an experienced Michigan Journeyman Plumber with a current Backflow Certification. This position handles residential and commercial service work, including diagnostics, repairs, installations, preventative maintenance, and certified backflow testing.
This is a full-time opportunity offering strong earning potential through overtime, commissions, and performance incentives.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems
Complete plumbing installations, replacements, and preventative maintenance
Install, inspect, maintain, and test backflow prevention devices
Complete required backflow testing reports and documentation
Service and install water heaters, fixtures, piping, and related equipment
Troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and recommend effective solutions
Clearly explain repair options, pricing, and completed work to customers
Complete digital service notes, paperwork, and job documentation
Follow plumbing codes, safety procedures, and company standards
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional appearance
Requirements
Active Michigan Journeyman Plumbing License
Current Backflow Certification
Residential and commercial plumbing service experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with water heaters, fixtures, piping, and plumbing repairs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and complete accurate digital documentation
