Summary:Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems while working under the supervision of licensed plumbers and foremen. Gain hands-on experience and develop skills in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist foremen and licensed plumbers with installation of water, waste, vent, and gas systems
Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures
Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and project plans
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all plumbing codes, safety regulations, and PPE requirements
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs under supervision
Communicate effectively with team members and other trades
Attend training and apprenticeship-related education as required
Support supervisors and team members in daily tasks
Perform other duties as assigned
