JR. Operations Supervisor

1-800-GOT-JUNK? in McKeesRock’s, PA is growing and looking for a Jr. Operations Supervisor for their franchise.  We’re part of the World’s Largest Junk Removal Service, with 175 independent and locally owned locations across the US, Canada, and Australia, and we’re known for revolutionizing the industry through the consistent delivery of our world-class customer experience.

JR. OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - Full Time

Location: 1220 McKee Street. McKees Rocks PA 15136

Compensation: $50,000 Annually 

The primary responsibilities and focus of this role are business growth, people development and performance management, operational oversight, business management and KPI accountability. In addition to strong leadership skills and results orientation, the ideal candidate must demonstrate 
 

• Dispatch/Operations: You will run the routes for the franchise Truck Team Members to ensure on time service is provided to all customers. 

• Customer Service: Most days, you will be on the trucks alongside our Truck Team Members servicing our customers & increasing your sales skills. 

• Sales: You will be the sales leader helping our truck team members sell our services to customers throughout the area. 

• Finances: You will assist in balancing our daily cash reconciliation as well as certain operational tasks. 

• Sales Meetings: Prior to our truck team members hitting the road in the morning, we hold a quick, interactive sales meeting that includes reviewing sales numbers as well as coaching and role plays. 

Required Qualifications:

• A valid standard driver's license & good driving record

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• A great attitude and strong multi-tasking, time management skills

• Solution-orientated mindset

 

Scheduling and Availability Requirements:

• This is a fulltime 4 day workweek position requiring weekend availability

• 2 days in Office: Focus on daily operations

• 2 days in Field: Working alongside our truck team members and supporting operations

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous operations management experience overseeing similar duties as outlined above

• Experience in any of the following industries is a definite plus: truck driver, transportation, logistics, delivery driver, moving, construction, customer service, retail hospitality, restaurants, hotels
