About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to support our kitchen leadership team in a fast-paced, high-volume brunch and lunch environment. This is a hands-on role for someone ready to step into leadership while remaining active on the line.
What You’ll Do
- Cook, finish, and plate dishes during service
- Expedite and assist with expo to ensure quality and timing
- Support daily kitchen operations and service flow
- Assist with ordering, inventory, and receiving
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Help train and support kitchen staff
- Uphold kitchen systems, standards, and consistency
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a brunch and lunch setting is required
- Strong line cooking skills and ability to handle multiple stations
- Comfortable expediting and finishing plates during service
- Organized, clean, and detail-oriented
- Reliable team player with leadership potential
Nice to Have
- Baking experience (pastries, breads, brunch baking)
- Prior lead line cook or junior sous experience
