    What You''ll Do:

    Law Clerks/Judicial Attorneys review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions and memoranda involving all areas of the Supreme Court's jurisdiction under Article IV, Section 2(B) of the Ohio Constitution. In addition, Law Clerks/Judicial Attorneys research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Justice.

Prior clerkship experience with an Appellate Court Judge or a Supreme Court Justice is preferred. The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently is required.

    Professional Skills: Written Communication

Prior clerkship experience with an Appellate Court Judge or a Supreme Court Justice is preferred. The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently is required.

    The salary for the position will be set based on experience with a range beginning at $110,593.60. A competitive benefits package is also provided. This is a State of Ohio, exempt, unclassified position.

    Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript (copy or unofficial transcript is acceptable at time of application), two letters of recommendation, and two legal-writing samples to ShanahanResume@sc.ohio.gov.
