Overview:

Julene is a vibrant new neighborhood restaurant created to become one of Miami’s most beloved gathering places. Stylish, spirited and genuinely welcoming, it brings familiar American cooking to the table with exceptional ingredients, confident execution and a distinct point of view. Located within The Sunny, Julene will draw hotel guests and local regulars from relaxed mornings into lively evenings. For its General Manager, this is a rare opportunity to shape a restaurant from the ground up—building its culture, defining its standards and leading a defining new culinary experience in Miami.

 

The Restaurant General Manager is the strategic and operational leader of Julene. This role is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and upholding the restaurant’s service and brand standards.

The General Manager will lead and develop the service team, work closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless dining room and kitchen operations, and foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and genuine hospitality. Through strong leadership, attention to detail, and operational discipline, the General Manager will help establish Julene as a destination for both hotel guests and the local community.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 year’s experience in food and beverage management.

• Full P&L management experience and a strong financial acumen with the proven ability to oversee cost control, labor, management and bottom-line profitability
• Strong business communication skills and associate relation skills

• Present a professional appearance with a confident attitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with scheduling, payroll and labor management
• Experience with TOAST POS system
• Current Serve Safe Certification preferred
• TIPS or CARE CERTIFICATION
• CPR Certification preferred
• Available to work both AM and PM Shifts
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling, and sanitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
