Key Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant

• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and supporting schedules as the Junior Accountant
• 
  
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities as the Junior Accountant
• 
  
• Reconcile vendor accounts and support accounts payable analysis as the Junior Accountant
• 
  
• Review and allocate expenses to appropriate general ledger accounts while maintaining an accurate chart of accounts as the Junior Accountant
• 
  
• Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and process improvement initiatives as the Junior Accountant
• 
  

Qualifications for the Junior Accountant

• 
  
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
• 
  
• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• 
  
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
