Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounting while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you'll gain exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare journal entries and support general ledger maintenance.
• 
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• 
  
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• 
  
• Help prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• 
  
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
• 
  
• Assist with audits, reporting requests, and special projects.
• 
  
• Contribute to process improvements and other departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 
  
• 0-2 years of accounting experience, including internships.
• 
  
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Experience with account reconciliations and Excel.
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• 
  
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
