Oxford Solutions is seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a professional services organization. This position is ideal for a recent accounting or finance graduate looking to build a career in corporate accounting and financial analysis.

Working closely with the Controller and accounting team, this role offers hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, billing, and business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly financial reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and support reporting activities.
• Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with client billing, invoice preparation, and account adjustments.
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, and accrual calculations.
• Collaborate with accounting, billing, and collections teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and follow established accounting procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Entry-level candidates and recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical abilities.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Previous accounting, finance, or analytical internship experience is a plus.
• Experience with accounting software or financial reporting systems is a plus.
