JUNIOR CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION ATTORNEY – RECENT LAW GRADUATES

LOCATION: Evansville, IN | Onsite

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary: $115,000 annually

• Associate Bonus Program: Eligible for additional compensation through the firm's bonus program.

• Billable Hours: 1,500 annually.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with construction litigation, contract disputes, payment claims, construction defects, and other civil litigation matters.

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.

• Support depositions, mediation, arbitration, negotiations, and trial preparation.

• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy, legal analysis, and client matters.

• Manage assigned deadlines, case documentation, and billable responsibilities while developing independent litigation skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Indiana or Kentucky, in good standing.

• Demonstrated academic concentration, coursework, clinical experience, or legal internships focused on civil litigation OR an educational background in civil engineering.

• Active license to practice law in Indiana or Kentucky, in good standing. Candidates must have completed bar admission before applying.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, with demonstrated interest in civil litigation or construction law.
