Job Description

We are seeking a curious and analytical Junior Data Analyst to investigate business problems, analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop practical data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel, SQL, reporting, and BI tools, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. The role also involves using AI tools such as Claude to research ideas, support analysis, develop requirements, and improve efficiency. Candidates should be adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working on ad-hoc projects and ambiguous business challenges.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to investigate business questions, identify trends, and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to research solutions, brainstorm ideas, and accelerate analysis.
  • Support dashboard development, reporting, and data process improvements.
  • Identify data quality issues, investigate discrepancies, and help implement practical solutions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analytical projects and new business challenges.
  • Document findings, business requirements, workflows, and proposed solutions.
  • Use Excel, SQL, and BI tools to organize, analyze, and present data.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously learn new tools and techniques to improve analytical efficiency and business outcomes.
