Position: Junior Facilities Technician Pay Rate: $21.00$24.00/hour Location: Livermore, CA
Schedule: MondayFriday | 6:00 AM2:30 PM Some overtime may be required based on operational needs. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Junior Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems and manufacturing equipment. This position will assist with preventative maintenance and day-to-day facility needs while working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and a hands-on approach to identifying and resolving problems. Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems and manufacturing equipment.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities as assigned.
Assist with troubleshooting basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
Support the operation and maintenance of facility equipment, including boilers and chillers when applicable.
Identify equipment or facility issues and assist with determining appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Follow applicable cGMP and compliance requirements within the facility.
Support facility operations in accordance with cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
Work with manufacturing personnel to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
Assist with projects and maintenance assignments while ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow established safety procedures and company policies.
Communicate maintenance concerns and project updates effectively with supervisors and other departments.
Perform additional facilities and maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance.
Basic technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Experience working in a GMP/cGMP environment preferred.
Experience with boilers and chillers is a plus.
Basic understanding of cGMP and compliance requirements for cosmetic and pharmaceutical products preferred.
Familiarity with personal care or regulated manufacturing processes is a plus.
Basic knowledge of chemistry and microbiology laboratory techniques is preferred.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong troubleshooting, problem identification, and analytical skills.
Hands-on approach to resolving equipment and facility issues.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or a related field is a plus.
