Job Description
Sign-On Bonus $1500 *for qualified applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate all types of mold fabricating equipment.
- Read and interpret mold drawings to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Make, alter, and repair molds and components of complex design.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble injection molds to maintain optimal performance.
- Determine which mold components need repair or replacement to ensure proper gating, venting, and cooling of molds.
- Polish mold component finishes as required to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine mold repairs and fabricate mold components via established methods.
- Performs development work, fitting and adjusting of mold components to maintain proper dimensional tolerances.
- Fit and adjust mold components to maintain proper dimensional tolerances.
- Assist more experienced Mold Makers on large and complicated multi-cavity molds.
- Observe all safety and environmental procedures and QSR's.
- Help keep Hoist inspected.
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma/G.E.D.
- Vocational/Technical School training or education in Machining, Toolmaker, or Tool & Die preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years Machinist or Tool & Die experience OR in lieu Machining, Toolmaker, Tool & Die Certification.
- EDM proficiency preferred.
- Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts of 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM
