Junior Procurement Specialist

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with acquisition package development, market research, contract documentation, procurement tracking, and administrative support.
• Support Past Performance Assessments and Proposal Pricing Reviews.
• Obtain and analyze rate and technical evaluation data to support Government assessments of contractor proposals.
• Enter and maintain contract information in contract management systems.
• Assist with oversight of projects involving services, supplies, research and development, and major integrated programs.
• Independently research Government policies, directives, regulations, and applicable statutes related to assigned responsibilities.
• Participate in and support meetings, program reviews, and stakeholder engagements.
• Perform outreach and liaison functions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare draft reports, correspondence, briefings, and other program-related documentation.
• Support overall contract administration and program management activities to ensure mission and organizational objectives are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

• U.S. Citizenship required with an active public trust clearance or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related major.
• Relevant internships or procurement, acquisition, or contract management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, acquisition support, contract administration, supply chain, or related business functions.
• Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related procurement regulations.
• Experience supporting Government procurement, acquisition, or contracting activities.
• FAC-C level I certification required.
• NCMA CFCM (Certified Federal Contract Manager) certification preferred.

Anticipated salary range is $65,000 - $75,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education, training and certifications.
