In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute in various ways, including: Ensuring Procurement Compliance and Providing Guidance â Ensuring that State law, COMAR Title 21, State procurement regulations, directives, advisories, policies, and procedures are followed throughout procurement activities; ensuring compliance with governmental procurement laws, regulations, and conditions; and issuing guidance and instruction to procurement officers, department area directors, superintendents, managerial staff, and other staff regarding appropriate procurement and contracting procedures and policies. Leading Complex Procurement Projects â Working on strategically comprehensive Requests for Proposals, noncompetitive negotiated procurement of human services, master service agreements, business process outsourcing (BPO) agreements, and other high-level procurement projects.
