We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager who can commit to those values. As a Junior Project Manager, you will be heavily involved in all as pects of project execution from job procurement to job completion. You will be planning, directing, and coordinating operations, purchasing and financial reporting for assigned projects as well ensur ing jobsite work is performed within a pre- scheduled budget and is performed to meet or exceed prescribed goals. You will collaborate with other Project Managers and staff to ensure the efficiency and profitability of all projects. Job Duties & Responsibilities : • Reviews and negotiates project contracts and any changes and or additions made to the contractualagreements with subcontractors, owners, clients, suppliers, etc.• Prepares and maintains projects schedule of values and budget setups.• Collaborates with the operations team to execute major project purchases. This includes managing theexecution of product data submittals/shop drawings for approv al and material releases for delivery toprojects on time.• Facilitate internal and external meetings, which include Project Kick Off Meetings, Project Close OutMeetings, Job Site Walk Throughs, etc.• Manges project profitability and its predictive revenue, cost, and profit forecasting for each project inhis/her portfolio of work.• Assesses performance, progress, and quality on each project by visiting on a regular basis.• Manages all billing for all assigned projects.• Prepare and develop RFI's including research as required with project Foreman and contract documents.• Ensure that all safety policies, rules, and regulations are adhered to and enforced by all project personnel.• Coordinate and tracks the need, use, and movement of shop equipment, tools, and material betweenjobs.• Coordinate engineering studies, change orders, and any other situations with the appropriate person.• Strategically plan jobs and coordinate with the field team to ensure that proper resources have bee nallocated to allow for successful completion of a job.• Manage Requests for Information submission response evaluation and implementation.• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, vendors, engineering firms and trade partners.• Collaborates and reviews with the appropriate team to ensure proper administration of payroll ,material/subcontractor payments, and owner progress and final payments.Requirements: • 3-5 years ' experience of project manage ment in the e lectrical construction industry or related field.• Has strong thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction and knowledge of materials, methods, andtools required for electrical construction.• Strong organization al skills with the ability to effectively follow directions and coordinate, monitor andtrack all aspects of assigned duties for projects.• Knowledge of pertinent National Electrical codes. Must have a knowledge of and ability to read a ndinterpret blueprint drawings.• Advanced skills in MS Office.
