Position Summary<\/b>
<\/h3>

CCI Group is seeking qualified K -12 Educational Sign Language Interpreters<\/b> to support students within Lake County Schools<\/b>. This role focuses on providing communication access services in alignment with each student’s IEP, 504 Plan, or documented educational needs<\/b>, allowing students to engage fully in classroom instruction and school activities.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h3>

• Provide professional sign language interpreting and communication access services<\/b> for deaf and hard -of -hearing students in K -12 settings
  <\/li>
• Support communication between students, teachers, peers, and school staff
  <\/li>
• Work across instructional environments including classrooms, assemblies, small -group instruction, and school events
  <\/li>
• Follow school schedules, district policies, and educational protocols
  <\/li>
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards

  Requirements<\/h3>

  Qualifications<\/b>
  <\/h3>

  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)<\/b> or other approved communication methods as required by the student
    <\/li>
  • Experience in K -12 educational settings<\/b> strongly preferred
    <\/li>
  • Familiarity with classroom terminology and school environments
    <\/li>
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work on -site during school hours
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Credentials<\/b> (district -dependent)<\/i>

    • State or national interpreting certification
      <\/li>
    • Educational interpreting credential or assessment
      <\/li>
    • Prior experience supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing
