Kansas-licensed PMHNP Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with SUD experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a part-time, adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a Residential Detox Facility in Eastern Kansas. This tele role has immediate availability for an actively Kansas-licensed PMNHP. This part-time weekday role (approximately 20 hours a week, Monday-Thursday) involves providing medical evaluations and treatment of patients at a facility with a census of 20 patients and increasing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • 15-20 hours per week, with room to grow into a full-time role as the census grows.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), experienced working with SUD patients in detox or residential settings.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Active Unrestricted License in the State of Kansas.
  • Active DEA in Kansas.
