Job Objective:

The New Holstein area Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign in New Holstein, Stockbridge, and Sherwood.

Essential Functions:

• Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups (ads, emails, letters, phone calls, meetings) and establishing dates, times and locations
• Contacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
• Send letters to local businesses about Chilton Chamber Match Day
• Organizing kettle pick-ups
• Managing campaign website for volunteer sign-ups
• Responsible for sorting kettle money with volunteers by applicable guidelines
• Responsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines
• Responsible for entering daily funds into online SA tracker (to be determined by local Service Rep or BOL Director)
• Drop off and pick up kettles
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community (newspaper, church bulletins, groups/organizations)
• Maintain Kettle Equipment - Keep clean and inspect for damage
• Thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations by email or letter. At end of season letting each location know how much was collected.
• Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to BOL Director
• Complete end of season paperwork and turn it into BOL Director
• Have all/any information needed on jump drive

Minimum Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education: N/A

Certifications: Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier required.

Experience: Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role
