Key Account Manager- Cosmetics Packaging

This role is focused on developing new business opportunities and growing strategic relationships within the beauty and personal care market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network of contacts across hair care, skin care, and body care brands, along with a proven track record of selling packaging solutions into these segments.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to work with innovative brands, influence packaging strategy, and drive significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:Business Development

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across hair care, skincare, and body care brands.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share throughout the Western U.S.
• Build relationships with brand owners, procurement professionals, packaging engineers, product development teams, and marketing stakeholders.
• Consult with customers to understand brand objectives, packaging requirements, sustainability goals, and commercialization timelines.
• Present innovative packaging solutions aligned with customer needs and market trends.
• Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the beauty and personal care sectors.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking functions.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of packaging sales experience within the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industry.
• Demonstrated success selling packaging components, dispensing systems, containers, closures, or related packaging solutions.
• Proven ability to develop new business and win strategic accounts.
• Existing relationships with decision-makers at hair care, skincare, and body care brands are strongly preferred.
• Experience working with both emerging indie brands and large national or global beauty companies.
• Must be located on the West Coast.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory for customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

• Competitive salary ranging from $120,500 to $140,000 per year.
