Key Responsibilities: - Assist with food prep, such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring the flow of food prep is smooth.
- Restock supplies and organize storage areas.
- Help with dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
- Assist in the proper storage of ingredients and waste disposal.
- Follow all kitchen policies and health/safety regulations.
- Help with inventory control as needed.
- Assist in any other kitchen duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications: - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desired:
Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work independently when needed. Flexibility to assist in various kitchen roles. Job Expectations & Work Environment:
