About the Role:Red Robin is looking for a passionate and driven Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in Gresham, WA. This is your opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic kitchen environment where your leadership and food service expertise will make a real impact every day.
Responsibilities:- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency in food preparation
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Monitor food inventory, place orders, and manage food cost controls
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance standards
- Collaborate with management to execute and produce menu items
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed
- Manage portion control and minimize food waste to support profitability
Requirements:- 2+ years of kitchen management or lead cook experience in a fast-paced food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Calm under pressure with a solutions-oriented mindset
