What You'll Do  

• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues with kitchen equipment, including stoves, dishwashers, and refrigeration units. 

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all kitchen equipment operates safely and efficiently. 

• Install and set up new kitchen equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and hotel standards. 

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize operational disruptions. 

• Coordinate with vendors to source and purchase replacement parts and necessary repair materials. 

• Stay current on food service technology advancements, health codes, and applicable safety regulations. 

• Train culinary and kitchen staff on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and basic maintenance practices. 

• Collaborate closely with culinary operations to support efficient workflows and optimal equipment performance. 

Qualifications 

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in kitchen maintenance is preferred 

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs  

• Knowledge of health codes, safety regulations, and other applicable laws  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instruction sheets  

• Ability to liftto 50 pounds 

• High school diploma or equivalent  

• Valid driver's license with good driving record
