Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Kitchen Porter to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate. Pay will be $12.00+ per hour DOE. You may work up to 12+ hours a day. You will work between the hours of 8am-8:30pm.
As our Kitchen Porter, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Maintain and clean all units and equipment according to local and hospital required food safety standards.
Empty fryers of oil and clean.
Put groceries up in the proper storage area.
Clean pipes throughout the kitchen.
Empty grease traps and dispose of oil.
Clean the ovens and coolers.
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout the day.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:
Experience in cleaning kitchens in a restaurant.
Valid Driver's License
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
Ability to lift/push/pull 25 pounds.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
Ability to work weekends.
Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
