KITCHEN SERVICE WORKER

The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for a Service Worker in the kitchen of the Orem Senior Friendship Center. This is a part-time, non-benefited position responsible for performing a variety of duties at the Senior Center. Duties will include meal prep, cooking, and cleaning in the kitchen. Responsible for unloading delivered lunch items, assisting in serving food, and washing dishes on a daily basis. Performs other duties as assigned. This position requires a food handlers permit from the State of Utah Health Department or must obtain one within five days of employment. A Kitchen manager Certification is preferred but not required. The ability to work with Senior Citizens is required. Must possess a valid drivers license, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and perform medium physical work on a regular basis. Cooking for large crowds a must. $11.22 to $16.83 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience.
