Incident & Change Management: Actively participate in incident, problem, and change management processes; assist development teams with deployments and post-release validation.
Data & Technical Analysis: Utilize advanced SQL skills to investigate data integrity and transactional issues. Analyze logs, batch jobs, APIs, and third-party integrations to identify performance bottlenecks.
Collaboration: Partner with L1/L2 teams to facilitate knowledge transfer. Work with business stakeholders to understand workflows, rules, and regulatory constraints.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all system changes meet regulatory, audit, and data security standards. Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Batch Operations: Support critical business cycles, including nightly processing, renewals, and high-volume transactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience: 7 10+ years of total IT experience, with at least 3 5 years specifically in L3 application support.
SQL Proficiency: 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience for complex data analysis and troubleshooting.
Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of P&C insurance processes, including policy, billing, claims, underwriting, and rating.
Preferred Qualifications:
Platform Expertise: Experience with industry-standard platforms such as Insurity, Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter), or Duck Creek.
Cloud & Environment: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and experience working within Agile/DevOps frameworks.
