Job Title: Clinical Lab Assistant Duration: 5+ Months (Possible extension) Location: Deland, FL 32724 Onsite Role May be assigned to work a designated shift on day/evening/night.
Responsibilities:
Performs specimen accessioning, data entry, processing, and other non-technical duties in the laboratory under the general supervision of the Supervisor.
This position reports to the Manager, Laboratory (Lab).
Performs specimen processing in the Laboratory, processing and testing of specimens.
Receiving and processing of specimens
Preparing specimens for testing
Testing of specimens
Reagents inventory
Monitors daily quality control
Assists Clinical Support department in receiving, and processing.
Unpack boxes containing specimens
Receiving and processing of specimens
Education/Experience:
0 to 2 years experience
Bachelor's degree Biological Sciences required
Basic computer skills, MS Office applications proficiency required
Clinical laboratory experience preferred
