Location: Onsite - Wilmington, MA or North Reading, MA or Woburn, MA
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical lab, robotics, electro-mechanical, automation, or hardware testing environment.
Experience of operating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining laboratory and electro-mechanical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical systems, control systems, PLCs, I/O systems, and lab equipment.
Hands-on experience with hardware rework, repair, prototype fabrication, assembly, and component testing.
Experience managing day-to-day lab operations, including:
Lab equipment and supplies, Material inventory and stocking, Workstation PCs, webcams, and related lab systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD designs, schematics, equipment specifications, test procedures, and SOPs.
Experience following lab safety procedures and protocols, including equipment interlocks, lockout/tagout, and other safety controls.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document test results, equipment issues, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Ability to work independently while supporting engineers, technicians, and cross-functional hardware/robotics teams.
Responsibilities:- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic test equipment, fixtures, and lab systems.
- Repair robots and perform hardware rework to keep testing on schedule.
- Build, test, and validate robotic prototypes and components.
- Use motion capture systems, test fixtures, and lab instruments for testing.
- Prepare test reports, work instructions, and troubleshooting documents.
- Identify lab issues and improve processes, workflows, and test efficiency.
- Support the setup and launch of new lab spaces and test stations.
- Follow all required lab safety procedures and protocols.
