Pay Range: $43/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and configure OEM laptop systems for testing, including hardware upgrades, BIOS updates, and operating system deployment.
- Execute and manage system-level performance benchmarks using tools such as Geek bench, Cine bench, SPEC, and 3DMark.
- Conduct test plans with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align on testing priorities and methodologies.
- Analyze benchmark results to identify performance trends and validate expectations.
- Maintain inventory tracking and troubleshoot technical issues to support lab operations.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a technical lab, engineering support, IT support, or related operational environment.
- Experience with inventory management and asset tracking.
- Foundational knowledge of computer hardware and system architecture, hardware diagnostics, and networking fundamentals.
- Basic experience with scripting or automation tools such as Python or PowerShell.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2-3 years of experience supporting hardware labs or data center environments.
- Familiarity with additional industry-standard benchmarking tools and experience analyzing performance data.
