Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Gretna, LA
Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
Shift: 3rd Shift - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM
Training schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM. Will be moved to the posted schedule once training is complete.
First Reviewer Position. This position is Nonexempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. In this role, the individual will operate a Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS for confirmatory testing in accordance with SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and those of other regulatory organizations for all non-negative test results.
This job also requires the individual to perform some QC duties.
Must possess a degree at the bachelor's level.
The degree must be in biology, chemistry, or an equivalent related field.
