Lab Technician I Job Description Homeyer Consulting Services Inc. the nations largest independent industrial water consulting firm has an opening for a Lab Technician I in our Tewksbury Massachusetts headquarters. The individual should be dynamic we ll spoken have excellent writing skills require little supervi sion be able to multitask and have good planning skills. This individual should be a personable and friendly professional who is organized computer literate and detail oriented. Occasio nal weekend work may be required. This is a non-exempt hourly position. Job Responsibilities Perform routine wet testing techniques using manual protoc ols as well as automated liquid handlers per internal SOPs. Prepare and interpret biological cultures. Maintain stock and cleanliness at assigned stat ions and ensure testing deadlines are met. Ensure facility water quality through regular testing and maintenance. Other duties and special testing techniques as assigned EducationExperience Requirements Entry level position Some laboratory course work required. Degree in scientific discipline preferred. 1 years of experience non-managerial in a lab setting helpful Skill Requirements Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent spoken and written use of the English language Previous knowledge of rudimentary ch emical properties is beneficial.
