Lab Technician (Indianapolis, IN)

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Lab Technician to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Work Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 6 month contract with option to extend or hire
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent; bachelor's degree in related field is a plus

Job Description & Responsibilities :
As an Lab Technician, you'll manage, organize and implement high-quality specialist engineering and coordination. You will also assist with providing support for a wide range of laboratory equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and calibration on a variety of laboratory equipment, that may include incubators, centrifuge, balances, rotary evaporators, and microscope.
• Operate test equipment. This includes multimeters, temperature standards, optical standards and liquid flow meters.
• Troubleshoot, service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work.
• Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. If needed, start corrective action and documentation.
• Review and document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.
• Candidate will be part of team, but will be working independently

Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 years experience doing maintenance on lab equipment

• Specific lab maintenance experience
