Job Description
Lab Technician needs 1-3 years demonstrated experience
Lab Technician requires:
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
- Comfortable and able to work with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
- The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Lab Technician duties:
- Manage product stability (analysis and testing) while documenting progress and results.
- Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing
- Support laboratory batching of body care products (e.g., hand soaps and body washes) and sample submissions
- Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling products
- Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies.
