Lab Technician - Medical Device Testing

Location: Warwick, RI | Pay Rate: $28/hour | Contractor | On-site

Responsibilities

• Conduct product testing following established lab protocols and timelines.
• Accurately record and report test results in both digital and physical formats.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report any irregularities in test data or equipment function.
• Assist in developing new test methods, prototype evaluations, and exploratory testing.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and lab equipment enhancements.
• Participate in investigations and support lab projects as directed.
• Help with lab upkeep and administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma with technical certification in laboratory operations.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in a relevant environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical work approach.
• Comfortable interpreting technical documentation and following detailed procedures.
• Effective time management and focus during repetitive tasks.
• Solid numeracy skills and experience with data analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Biological or Engineering Sciences.
• Experience with advanced laboratory instrumentation.
• Familiarity with medical device testing protocols.
