Label Cutter - 2nd Shift

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Second Shift)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Label Cutter to join our production team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate specialized cutting equipment to trim and prepare labels used on a variety of promotional products. The Label Cutter plays a key role in maintaining product quality by ensuring labels are cut accurately and meet customer specifications. This position works closely with production and quality teams to support daily output goals and ensure materials are ready for the next stage of customization and assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate label-cutting machinery to accurately cut labels for promotional products, including bags, drinkware, apparel, and other customized items.
• Ensure labels are cut according to order specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect finished labels to verify accuracy, cleanliness of cuts, and overall quality.
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust cutting equipment for various label sizes and materials.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Organize and maintain inventory of finished labels for production use.
• Work closely with production and printing teams to ensure labels are prepared correctly for customization processes.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and production issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Experience operating cutting equipment or production machinery is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation and adjustments.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, job specifications, and production instructions.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet production goals.
