Labor and Employment Associate

Our client, a highly respected super-regional law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join their Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, client-focused team known for its commitment to excellence in labor and employment law.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of litigation experience, including a strong background in labor and employment law. You'll manage cases from inception through resolution, working both independently and alongside seasoned attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, briefs, and client correspondence

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings

• Advise clients on employment-related issues, compliance, and dispute resolution

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to client development initiatives

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Active Florida Bar license (required)

• 4-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in labor & employment law

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong academic credentials and a stable professional track record

• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
