Aligned Talent Acquisition is working with a nationally recognized Am Law firm that is actively seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney interested in sophisticated employment litigation, workplace counseling, and representing employers in complex labor and employment matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in management-side labor and employment litigation.

• Experience defending employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.

• Familiarity with federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and FLSA.

• Experience handling discovery, depositions, substantive motion practice, and litigation strategy.

• Experience with employment counseling, workplace investigations, or wage and hour matters is a plus.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage sophisticated litigation matters and collaborate with attorneys and clients.

• Wage and hour disputes, including class and collective actions

• Wrongful termination and restrictive covenant litigation

• Employment counseling and regulatory compliance

• Administrative agency proceedings and employment litigation

• Drafting motions, conducting depositions, and developing litigation strategies
