Laboratory Technician

Pay Range: $21/hr - $26/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute technical process operations for developmental lots.
• Conduct experiments, prepare samples for testing, and operate laboratory equipment.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper labeling and logging of samples.
• Support general lab functions including housekeeping and cleaning.
• Identify and communicate production or analytical issues to laboratory management.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols.
• Follow good documentation practices to maintain accurate records of all activities and data generated.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Associate degree (12 plus 2) in a scientific discipline with at least one year experience or BS/BA in Life Science with no experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office 2010 or higher.
• Prior experience working in pharmaceutical or chemical laboratories is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
