Job Description
The Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for collecting, processing, testing, and analyzing biological specimens to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The technician ensures accurate test results while following laboratory procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.Record and document test results accurately.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards.Prepare samples for testing and transportation.
- Assist with inventory management and laboratory organization.Report abnormal findings to senior laboratory staff or supervisors.
